Course Curriculum includes an introductory “hands-on” experience and demonstration of elements of an internal or private cloud service, based on VMware vSphere, the Cisco UCS server platform, Cisco Nexus switching, and NetApp FAS SAN storage technologies.
As a companion to manufacturer’s product training, this course provides the opportunity to interact with a “Virtual Compute Environment (VCE)” on live equipment. The curriculum includes basic set up, configuration and management of multiple components in the IT infrastructure, including Server Hardware, Hypervisors Software, 10Gb Networking Switching Interconnect and a Shared Storage SAN Backend.
At the end of this course students will have familiarity with the various technologies, as well as an overview of the steps necessary for deployment of a virtualized Infrastructure supporting a Cloud IaaS model.
